Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data Mebo Books collects, why, and how we use it.

What we collect

When you place an order, we collect your name, delivery address, email, and payment details (processed securely by our payment provider — we never store full card numbers ourselves). When you personalise a book, we also process the photo you upload and any names you enter into the story text.

How we use it

Your details are used to produce and deliver your order, send order updates, and — only if you’ve opted in — occasional marketing emails. Uploaded photos are used solely to produce the book you’ve ordered.

Photo retention

Uploaded photos are retained for a limited period after your order is fulfilled, to support reprints or customer service queries, then deleted.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting privacy@mebobooks.co.uk.
