We want Mebo Books to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or browser zoom.

What we’ve done

We aim to keep sufficient colour contrast throughout the site, label interactive elements clearly, and make sure the book customiser can be operated without relying solely on drag gestures.

Known limitations

The book customiser uses a visual canvas for placing photos, which is inherently visual in nature. We’re working on improving alternative ways to complete personalisation for screen reader users.
